The apply tag allows you to apply Canvas filters on a block of template data:
{% apply upper %}
This text becomes uppercase
{% endapply %}
You can also chain filters and pass arguments to them:
{% apply lower | escape('html') %}
<strong>SOME TEXT</strong>
{% endapply %}
{# outputs "<strong>some text</strong>" #}
